One of the best things about being a newly-minted resident of Washington state is getting to take advantage of all the incredible scenery.  This weekend, I hiked in the Alpine Lakes area in the Central Cascades.  After four and a half miles of mostly uphill hiking, I arrived here:

For a few good minutes, I was completely speechless.  I just stood there, in silence and wonder, and marveled at the incredible and majestic sight in front of me.  Places like this are the reasons why I love nature so much, and why I’ll always do my best to protect it.

So… We’ve launched ecofuse about 2 months ago, and we’re still in Beta.  Sorry.  Coming from the Microsoft space, PHP has been a bit challenging for me at times.  Please bear with me while I make this place better for everyone.  I hope to have the site fully out of beta in the coming weeks.

We’ve received a ton of feedback on the site. Please keep sending it -  whether you like the site, hate it, or have suggestions.  Everything gets read.  I’ve had a blast building ecofuse.  A clean, green planet is something I truly believe in, and I hope ecofuse will grow and take its place in the eco-friendly web community.

The shopping cart is almost ready.  The organic tote bags and tees are AWESOME!  We’ll be giving some away every month to our users… I’ll have a blog post on this shortly.
